1) Pincio, overlooking the People's square, near the Villa Borghese has a romantic terrace where you can enjoy a wonderful sunset. Looking down you will see an Egyptian obelisk, which is from the 13th century BC, and a beautiful fountain with lions and sphinxes. On the background the majesty of St Peter's dome. 

2) Laghetto dell'Eur. The Lake in the EUR district is very famous among young couples and families that come here to spend a sunny day in the green. The artificial lake belonged together with the Square Colosseum and the church of St Paul and St Peter to the Universal Exhibition Rome that the dictator Mussolini wanted to organize here in 1942. His aim was to rebuild the glories of the ancient Rome seen from a modern point of view. 

3) Lo Zodiaco terrace, one of the best views in Rome, is also called the lover's street, is on the slopes of Monte Mario. The bar/coffee Lo Zodiaco adds a special touch to all the monuments which you can appreciate from this terrace. 4) Gianicolo. From the Janiculum hill you have one of the best views of Rome. For the sunset and during the night the lights of the city are lightening the hill and the atmosphere get magical. 

5) Giardino degli Aranci, the Orange garden is on the Aventin hill. Not so far from the secret keyhole, the garden offers a nice view of the city from the Victor Emanuel's monument to the Pantheon and the St Peter's Basilica.
